Avernus Games LARP Network

What is AvernusGames?
AvernusGames is an independently operated Live Action Role-Playing (LARP) network of chronicles for the Rocky Mountain Region, whose games are linked together for the purpose of sharing a broad environment that extends across city and state lines. We believe each game should have internal self-rule so far as it conforms to a rules set and organization set down by the umbrella organization to provide consistency game-to-game. AvernusGames creates an environment in which players can interact and cross from one game to another as though the world were contiguous and internally consistent. This is a cooperative effort based on respect for each player and chronicle.

Avernus Network Games is set in the Mind's Eye Theater White Wolf World of Darkness™ prior to the Time of Thin Blood. We use Laws of the Night Revised and other MET 2nd Edition Mechanic. We will NOT be transitioning to Vampire: The Requiem nor will be using megaplot "post-Week of Nightmares." Please refer to our House Rules and Errata for any clarifications to mechanic you plan use in play.

We recommend players read Laws of the Night Revised and Laws of the Night - Camarilla Guide or Sabbat Guide (depending on genre) for vampire games and hope you will familiarize yourself with whatever clan book is pertinent to your character. AvernusGames welcomes all genres of games to our network.

Something New!

Avernus: Red Mountain Chronicle has started in the Southern Denver Metro, CO, area. This game launched May 27, 2011. As additional chronicles are added to the network, more genres will be appearing in the Rocky Mountain area.

The games are played in Littleton, CO, in both public and private locations. We use Laws of the Night Revised and Dark Epics  as well as other MET, 2nd Edition Mechanic. We will not be transitioning to WoD 2.0 known as: Vampire: The Requiem nor will be using megaplot post "Week of Nightmares." Please refer to our House Rules and Errata for any clarifications to mechanic you plan use in play.
